LOW

Overall Risk

Trust Factors:

The extension appears to be a legitimate live wallpaper application from wallsflow.com, which specializes in wallpaper content. With 8,000 users and a high rating of 4.8 stars, it demonstrates positive user reception. The extension uses Manifest V3, which is Google's latest and more secure extension framework with enhanced security controls and privacy protections.

Concerns:

The primary concern is the limited information available for thorough assessment. Key details are missing including the extension's file size, last update date, and comprehensive developer information. While the security scan shows minimal risk with zero findings, the small number of reviews (only 8) relative to the user base of 8,000 suggests either recent publication or low user engagement in providing feedback.

Recommendations:

This extension appears relatively safe for general use given its straightforward purpose as a live wallpaper and clean security profile. However, due to the limited available information, consider monitoring the extension's behavior after installation. Check for any unusual system performance impacts or unexpected network activity. If you prefer maximum caution, you could run it in a separate Chrome profile initially to isolate any potential issues. The extension's simple functionality and minimal permissions make it a lower-risk addition to your browser.
